What heavy equipment is available for rent?

How many hours in monthly/weekly rental?

Weekly rentals include up to 50 hours and monthly rentals include up to 200 hours of use.

Where are machines located?

We have yards in and around Calgary, including locations in Aldersyde/Okotoks and Nisku/Edmonton, serving customers across Alberta and beyond.

Who’s responsibility is servicing?

All machines are fully serviced and ready to go at the time of pickup. After that, customers are responsible for servicing the equipment at every 250-hour interval. If you’re unable to do so, Heavy Iron can handle the service and charge it back to you.

Who’s responsible to wash and clean machine upon return?

Machines are washed and cleaned before pickup, and we ask that they be returned in the same condition.

Am I responsible for freight?

All machines are FOB (Freight on Board) from our yards, meaning customers are responsible for pickup and return. However, if needed, we can arrange transport on your behalf and charge it back to you.

Can Heavy Iron assist with importing equipment from the USA?

Yes! We have extensive experience importing equipment from the USA and abroad. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to walk you through the process.

Does any of your equipment come with warranty?

Yes, in many cases. We frequently purchase low-hour equipment from OEM dealers, and factory warranties can often be transferred to the new owner. Additional warranty coverage can also be purchased — contact us for a quote.

Do you have mechanics available for hire?

Yes, we have qualified mechanics available. Please call us directly for availability and details.

What if the equipment I need isn't listed on your website?

Our website may not always reflect everything we have access to. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, give us a call — there’s a good chance we can source it for you.

Are your rental and purchase rates negotiable?
